Now nearing its final stage of development a new course in Education studies is scheduled to commence autumn 2012.
The official title of the course is ‘A Bachelor in Educational Studies, Theology & Religion’. This course aims to provide ISKCON with a systematic training scheme for devotees who wish to become qualified teachers. Under the very expert direction of Rasa mandala prabhu, this course especially hopes to offer students both an solid education and upon completion a direct access to the ever growing need for teachers in the Krishna Avanti school development in the UK.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Marutvati Devi Dasi, a lovely disciple of Srila Prabhupada. She left this world, with her family, on the morning of 15th December at her home in Soest, Netherlands. Her departure follows a long brave battle with cancer. Read more…

On 12–13 November Radhadesh had their second monthly book distribution festival organised by Partha-sarathi Dasa and Mangala Candrika Devi Dasi. On the 4th of November, at 10.25 pm in Moscow, His Holiness Purnacandra Goswami passed away after a final battle with hepatitis C. He was a wonderful devotee and his passing away is a great loss for the entire ISKCON community. Read more…

Every year new students arrive from various backgrounds and are led to Bhaktivedanta College. For eight years the college has held an orientation week for students and an inauguration ceremony for the students, faculty, and community members. The padayatra festival is a wonderful opportunity for a spiritual experience and we welcome everyone to join in the fun. Padayatra is a walking festival between towns with a ox-drawn cart. Devotees sing along the way and distribute prasadam (spiritual food) to passers-by. Read more…
