In September the new garden team started rebuilding Radhadesh’s vegetable garden. The idea is to as much as possible provide a healthy, homegrown food to the community for the satisfaction of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath and Srila Prabhupada. Right now they are preparing the land for the coming year.

This includes:

• Improving the quality of the soil by getting as much compost and animal manure as possible.
• Preparing beds for planting vegetables, herbs, and fruits.
• Clearing up neglected areas.
• Fixing broken tools and fences.

There are also plans to build a new greenhouse in the spring, which would mean that plants can be grown throughout the entire year. Work is in plenty and everyone is welcome to help either occasionally or regularly.
