Gaura Purnima Festival!

NOT FOUND: 1 We are delighted to announce the schedule for this year's Gaura Purnima festival on 28th February!

Lord Caitanya, the appearance of whom this festival celebrates, is considered the most merciful form of Krishna. He appeared in Navadwipa, Bengal, 500 years ago and subsequently traveled all over India spreading the teachings of Krishna consciousness, especially the simple and sublime chanting of the holy names of Krishna.

The formula of Lord Caitanya was to chant, dance, take prasadam (sanctified foodstuffs), rest a little, and start all over again. Come and get the mercy of Lord Caitanya by celebrating His appearance, and experience the joy of His movement!
