LAST MINUTE DEAL!……REGISTER BEFORE  5 DECEMBER 2015

Radhadesh invites you to join this spiritual retreat from February 22 – March 4 with Nanda Kumar prabhu. Together with Bohemian Tours we are able to guarantee comfortable accommodation for a very reasonable price.

You will taste indian cuisine, take a bath in the Holy Ganges, you will see waterfalls, have a ride on an elephant in Jaipur, visit the Taj Mahal, the Sandipani muni school, the Krishna Balaram temple and much much more.

Cost: 1.008 Euro (NORMAL PRICE 1799 USD) based on twin share (350 Euro extra for private
accommodation). We will arrange a roommate based on gender if possible. Not included is two-way ticket to Delhi from Europe.

Schedule is as follows:

Day 1 – Arriving in Delhi,pick up and drive to hotel Surya/Gulnar      Indian-food-in-St.Petersburg
Meet in the lobby at  6:45pm for a brief meeting
7:00 pm  dinner

This evening’s highlight is a visit to one of the best restaurants in Delhi named “Suruchi“.We will find an amazing variety of traditional food served by waiters wearing turbans and flying around like bees to put more food on our plates.

Day 2 – 4:30 am departure for Rishikesh (to beat the traffic) (approx. 6.5 – 7.5 hours of driving)ganges
Checking in Divine Ganga Cottage…orientation walk in to the town.
6pm dinner (usually the first diner we will take at DGC)

This will be a little introduction to the “incredibly organized” traffic of India.While traveling with bus we will see rural life of North India’s state Uttar Pradesh and time for discussions on culture and customs of local people of this region.
Rishikesh is the worlds Capital of yoga. Yogis, seekers of truth and travelers come here from all over the world…and its no surprise due to its mountains and sacred river Ganges, this place has a very special and pleasing atmosphere.
On arrival we will be welcomed by the pleasant staff of Divine Ganga cottage  and after a little refreshment we will go for a walk to the colorful town of Lakshman Jhula.
We will take dinner at our hotel..they have an organic garden and the meals are usually cooked by a local cook named Sashi who cooks with care and affection like a mother.

Day 3 – Morning Yoga followed by breakfast 🙂

4:30pm  Stretching/Mantra Meditation/Laughter Yoga/
6pm dinner

Our morning will start with a stunning sunrise and breathing one of the most fresh and clean air on the planet as it comes down directly from the valleys and mountaintops of Himalayas.We will practice gentle yoga exercises and improve our concentration by easy meditation.
Todays dinner will be at  a small local family restaurant called “Ganga view” known for its variety and quality this restaurant is favored by many.

Day 4 – Morning Yoga fallowed by  breakfast 🙂
Talk on “Origins of Ganga”  followed by a noon bath in Ganges with mantra recitations
4:30 pm Laughter Yoga/mantra meditation/
6pm dinner

Although Ganges is the biggest river of India and its waters provides life and sustenance to millions, her origin and water carries secrets of life beyond death.We will hear the story of Ganges and all of us will have chance to dip in her purifying waters.

Day 5 –  8am breakfast
Departure for Himalayan foothill trek with waterfalls  (trek is approximately 3 hours roundtrip)
4:30 pm  Restorative Yoga
6 pm dinner

This day will give us opportunity to see the wildlife of this aria. Although the Himalayas themselves are still quite a distance this area is incredibly beautiful and full of interesting trees, plants and waterfalls. Depending on our energy levels we will chose our adventure hike trough small villages in the mountains. Don’t forget to take your cameras for a surprise visit from Langour monkeys.

Day 6 – Morning Yoga fallowed by  breakfast 🙂
4:45 pm departure from hotel for Ganga Puja ceremony
7 pm dinner at Chotiwala

Ganga puja ceremony has been performed throughout centuries and during this special evening, we will visit the famous Paramniketan Ashram on the bank of Ganges. Overlooking a sunset we will experience ancient mantras and rituals done by the dedicated students of this ashram.

Day 7 – Morning Yoga fallowed by  breakfast 🙂
4:30pm  Stretching/Mantra/Chakra or Trataka Meditation/
6pm dinner

Today is our day of shopping 😉 In  shops you will find a variety of clothes and jewelry for a good price. Friendly shop owners will try to sell you everything for “nothing”…its fun to bargain and make new friends.

Day 8 –  4:30 am departure to Vrindavan (8.5 hour )
15:30 pm arrival in Vrindavan, settling in Ashram/Hotel
6 pm visiting local temple fallowed by dinner

We will leave early to beat the “organized traffic” of India. Bus/train ride will give a chance to reflect on our stay in Rishikesh and prepare for yet another very special place…..Vrindavan.
Vrindavan is a town 1.5 hour away from TajMahal and is known because of its many temples and spiritual atmosphere.We will stay in MVT or AnandaKrishna Van
After our arrival we will visit one of the main temples which is always full of joyous singing and dancing…Krishna Balaram Mandir.

Day 8 – 7:45 am breakfast
8:30 am departure to visit Sandipani Muni School and Cow shelter.
2:30 pm visit to Kusuma Sarovar and Radha Kunda Sacred Lake, visit yogi Giridhari
7:00 pm dinner at MVT

smssgroup2010This day in Vrindavan tends to be the day which saturated the most of the pilgrims with tears of joy and deep feelings of gratitude.
Sandipana Muni school is an amazing project to help the poorest girls of this region to receive basic needs and education. We can see how the unfortunate future of these young girls is completely changed. We will meet with a very special men named Keshi. He used to work as a logistic manager of Malaysian Airlines but for the last 10 years has dedicated his life for care of Vrindavan cows.
Visit to the Radha Kunda sacred lake will give a very intimate glimpse of Bhakti yoga practices and complete dedication of Vrinadavan widows. We will also meet our friend yogi Giridhari..who will invite us to visit his mud house.

Day 9 – Breakfast  and departure for Agra

Taj Mahal…well this monument probably doesn’t wryly need any description. It is definitely one of the most beautiful creations of mankind…its symmetry and precision is hard to comprehend. We will have our local guide explaining the secrets of this unforgettable Monument of Love.

Day 10 – Breakfast and departure for Jaipur

Ride to Jaipur takes us trough dry tract of Northern India’s state Rajasthan. Upon reaching Udaipur, we will observe busy city life and its distinguished architecture, even our hotel rooms are decorated with amazing decorative artwork.

Day 11 – Breakfast and early departure for elephant ride, visiting kings palaces
Going out for dinner.

Well this is our kings day…we will ride on elephants to the most famous palace of Udaipur. Vast wealth and power of King Udai Singh is very much reflected in his palace.We will also hear descriptions of this historical culture, a culture based on respect and duty.

If time permits we will visit  Temple Of Govindaji, one of the most amazing temples in the world, most of the residents of the city visit this temple in morning and evening proofing it to be the heart of Udaipur’s city. Its a festival of joy and devotion.
Visit to an astronomical observation site called The Jantar Mantar is a must. Built in the early 18th century. It includes a set of some 20 main fixed instruments. They are monumental examples in masonry of known instruments. Designed for the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye, they embody several architectural and instrumental innovations. This is the most significant, most comprehensive, and the best preserved of India’s historic observatories.

Day 12 – Breakfast and departure for Delhi/ airport or hotel drop off

Still waking up in our beautiful rooms in Jaipur we might stop for getting some more gifts and souvenirs for our friends….Bus ride to Delhi hotel or airport……and the last hugs of affection and gratitude with tears of separation.
